Senior Support Worker

Salary: 13.77per hour - (Plus paid breaks!!)
Shifts: Night Shifts-8pm- 8am
42 hours per week
3 on 3 off shift basis
28 days holiday

The Recruitment Crowd are on the lookout for a talented, driven and passionate Senior Support Worker for a beautiful care home in Shrewsbury.

Job Description

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of the care team, recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, as well as, contributing to care planning and coaching support workers. With an emphasis on high quality, the purpose of the role is to maintain the personal care needs of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence.

This role could be for you if have,

• Previous experience in a senior care role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Empathetic and caring nature.

Qualifications required:

• You will have aminimum -NVQ 2in Health & Social Care
• NVQ Level 3or willing to work towards.
