Role Description

This is a full-time Costs Lawyer (or draftsmen) role with flexibility for completely remote work. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to undertake a costing of bills dealing with technical challenges.

Assessing bills for provisional/details assessment and instructing counsel

negotiate to settlement

report to the FD.

Qualifications

• A qualified Lawyer, Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX), or equivalent OR
• Experience working as a costs draftsmen at least 3 years.
• Experience in drafting budgets, bills of costs and cost management schedules
• The ability to work independently
• Experience with Costs drafting software or excel is a plus
• A detail-oriented approach and a passion law costs.
