Senior Design Engineer
North Lanarkshire
£60,000 + £5,400 car allowance
Fourblue is working with a leading ICP and EV (electric vehicle) charge point installer. Offering a comprehensive service from planning through to installation and supporting businesses with their net-zero obligations. Carrying out works across the UK they are leading the way on EV infrastructure projects.
Due to growth and winning a huge amount of work contributing to their healthy order book for 2025 and beyond, an opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer has arisen to join their successful team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer:
- Implement the strategy, policies, processes, procedures and risk management for company-wide deployment within the technical team
- Lead Design Engineers and Graduate Engineers within the technical team and be accountable for scheme design, consultancy/feasibility studies, technical standards, regulatory affairs and associated legal processes
- Develop and maintain the best relationships with clients, asset owners, partners and designers
- Assist with Business Development to secure new and repeat business via new and existing client relationships
- Ensure that works are designed to minimise risks during the construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning/demolition phases
- Ensure that all designs meet regulatory, statutory, client and industry requirements
Criteria for the Senior Design Engineer:
- Electrical Power Engineering Qualification is essential or;
- Relevant experience in the UK market within the last 5 years with a DNO, IDNO or ICP is essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
