Hours: Fixed Term 6 months , 40 hours. Role needs to be an experienced individual in scoping, scripting and executing Digital Journey User Experience testing across multiple browsers and devices.

Salary: Per Annum

(Contractor) Digital User Acceptance Testing Specialist

Remote/Hybrid. Inside IR35

£500 pr day.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Digital User Acceptance Testing Specialist to join our Digital function, where you will be writing and executing test scripts, with the lens of a customer, for our Digital customer platforms and applications.

Who Are We?

You will be joining a team of experienced Digital User Acceptance Testing Specialists, where you will be collaborating with Digital UX Designers, our UI Design function, and stakeholders throughout Technology and wider business areas. Your role will be to test our Digital customer platforms and applications across the Digital landscape including websites and mobile applications.
 

What Will You Be Doing?

Responsible for creation and execution of own test cases for our online customer journeys and experiences on our digital customer platforms and applications. This will be across multiple browsers and devices, ensuring it meets acceptance criteria, customer experience expectations and is fit for purpose. You will also need to complete test assurance and acceptance execution, in line with defined scripts and plans.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business, to deliver a variety of changes. This will include attending, and contributing to, agile ceremonies such as refinements, sprint planning and retrospectives, representing the Digital User Acceptance Testing Team and managing own workloads appropriately.

You will need to be ‘hands on’ to support cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team by contributing to standards and process enhancements.

What Do We Need From You?

Being customer focussed and wanting to deliver amazing customer experiences online is key to this role. An eye for detail and being flexible in your approach is also key for success as your role will be varied.

Experience in digital user acceptance testing, with a customer lens, and will be skilled in using test and defect management tools (Microsoft DevOps) cross browser (BrowserStack) and device testing (iOS & Android) and understanding software development lifecycles & Agile Principles, in relation to UAT testing and quality assurance. 

Working, collaborating and communicating clearly with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders, is vital to ensure a smooth service throughout the testing lifecycle.

Working in a fast-paced agile environment, managing multiple deadlines, you will need to be able to work collaborative as part of a team and on your own initiative.

These roles can be based anywhere in the UK, you must be able to commit to monthly visits to the Skipton HQ.
