We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Manager to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our ecommerce websites (Schoffel, Sherpa, Keen UK, Artilect), primarily on Shopify. This role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and technical knowledge of ecommerce platforms.


The role is both strategic and operational and you will be fully accountable for driving the online sales and profit performance and identifying new opportunities to drive growth.


You will be an ecommerce expert, a strong team player and passionate about digital. You will lead and coach a team of ecommerce specialists, as well as work closely with the rest of the digital, marketing and customer service teams.


What you will be doing:

  • To work with the Head of Digital to define a robust and actionable growth strategy for our ecomm activities.
  • Develop, review and present weekly and monthly performance in trading meetings and to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Deliver a conversion optimisation testing roadmap to ensure that the sites deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
  • Identify feature developments that will unlock growth.
  • Own and optimise the promotion calendar and work closely with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with overall digital marketing efforts.
  • Work with the Ecommerce Executives/Lead to manage and execute the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce websites (merchandising strategies, product categorisation, etc).
  • Own our relationships with third-party agencies and marketing software (dev agency, search, CRO, merchandising, reviews, etc).
  • Project manage new website builds and front-end development projects.


What you can expect from us:

  • Salary of £40k-£55k Depending on experience
  • Hybrid working, min 2-3 days a week on-site at LE15 6EA, greater presence during onboarding.
  • 30 days with an increase to 32 days (including Bank Holidays) at 5 years’ service.
