Senior Electronics Design Engineer

A very well-established and successful research and development company are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will work with a team of hardware, software, and mechanical design engineers to assist with the design and development of electro-mechanical products and systems. The Senior Electronics Design Engineer will be involved from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• Simulating circuits, prototyping, creating schematics, designing PCB’s and then testing ready to move to manufacture
• Electronics design (analogue, power supply, digital, FPGA, high-speed)
• Participate with peer reviews of the design and architecture
• Liaise with other disciplines within R&D and external suppliers

Key skills / experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• A proven, strong background in electronics design and the full development lifecycle
• Experience in both analogue and digital electronics design
• Experience of designing complex electronic products in a commercial environment
• Knowledge of RF technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc) would be beneficial
