Senior Events Operations Manager

London Venue with internal caterer

As the Senior Event Operations Manager you will play a crucial role in the seamless execution of events and operational efficiency. This position requires a combination of strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality events in a historic setting.

The role will have a mix of weddings, corporate events as well as public and charity events.


  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including but not limited to logistics, supplier management, kit orders, event management and staffing.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients on the event day, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
  • Lead and motivate a team of event staff, including supervisors, agency staff and porters
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers and the in-house catering teams
  • On the day management of set up, day of event and breakdown


This role would suit someone with a solid events catering background who is used to working in a historical or UVL venue, the candidate must have solid management skills, wedding experience and hold a clean driving licence.
