Your Role:

As a senior consultant, with a 360-degree role, you will adopt a boundary-less global approach with a specific focus on supporting antipodean lawyers to return home, or taking them wherever in the world they want to go next, for the right career-making opportunity. Specifically you will:


  • Identify and engage with the very best legal talent from around the world to support their, and our clients', ambitions for growth.
  • Use your experience, market knowledge and empathetic approach to consult, coach and support individuals to plan their ideal career trajectory and timing.
  • Manage the various stages of the search process (whether retained or contingent recruitment) to ensure the highest-quality execution and efficient delivery.
  • Market map and research, to identify new clients or prospects, with the support of our growing Data Insights & Research team.
  • Introduce candidates to prospective clients worldwide and effectively manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Demonstrate excellence in client and candidate care. Cross-border processes are typically broader decisions than domestic hires, often involving family members, pets and all the relocation logistics of not just a career but a life change. We believe that our role continues from when they cross the border, the threshold of their new firm and beyond!


Specific Requirements

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years of international legal recruitment experience. We have no upper limit for this opportunity which can be shaped around the successful individual.

  • Some legal education and background we have all personally found to be valuable, but it's not essential - we know that the legal sector these days can be challenging to enter.
