Job Title -  Senior Full stack PHP Developer

Location - Remote working (1 visit per month to London office)

Salary - £50,000 - £70,000 + bonus + Options

About the company

Sourcific Talent is working with an exciting B2B SaaS Start-up operating within the PPM (Portfolio Project Management) industry. They have been established for 2.5 years and in that time have achieved great success having bootstrapped their way to profitability having secured numerous enterprise-level clients and are now in the process of securing their seed funding round of £1M.

They have numerous value propositions in comparison to their competitors by being a disruptor in an industry that otherwise is full of solutions that either lack the level of complexity when it comes to Portfolio and property management or are very dated in their appearance. Our client has built a solution with customer experience at the forefront whilst giving them access to a wealth of functionality that other platforms simply are unable to achieve.

About the position

Our client, having built their solution with a dedicated team of external contract resources is now looking to hire their first in-house Senior full-stack developer giving this person a wealth of ownership and autonomy to shape the future technology of this business.

You will gain the opportunity to engage with our customers and ensure that we continue to listen to some of the new features that are in demand and come up with innovative ways to add functionality whilst maintaining the core structure of the platform.

The long-term opportunity is simply unlimited. As the first in-house developer you will be considered as the person who will be able to continue scaling this department stepping into high leadership positions and the company continue to grow.

Required skills.

Technical

• 5+ Years experience with PHP & Laravel
• 2+ years experience with VueJS
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• GIT
• Worked to Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud-based applications (ideally in AWS) Desirable
• Cypress Desirable

Non-Technical

• Stakeholder/Customer-facing skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience working within SaaS-based environments.
• Ability and desire to take ownership across all development activities.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc level education within computer science or other relevant subjects
• 5+ Years experience as a full-stack PHP Developer using Laravel.

Interview process

Stage 1 Call with Talent Advisor high-level qualification across skills, culture fit, motivations, as well as providing a detailed overview of the company, product, culture, and mission. (30 minutes)

Stage 2 Technical round Deep dive into your CV and the projects you have worked on. Share with you the code view of their product and ask questions regarding functionality. (1 hour)

Stage 3 (Final) Meet the Founder 1-2-1 final round could happen on the same day as the 2nd stage. A discussion with the Founder of the business to explore culture fit and personality.
