Salary: 35,000 - 39,000.

This market leading Ground-Gas Monitoring company with 3 offices around the UK, specialising in gas monitoring, risk assessment and verification projects, are seeking an experienced Senior Geo-environmental Engineer to join their team near Edinburgh. With a strong client basis allowing for continuous and varied work, this opportunity will provide a chance to develop your geo-environmental knowledge into a niche specialism and contribute to business development.

The Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be managing the continued growth of the Scotland based office - supporting wider business development, team operations and project managing. You'll be regularly liaising with clients, preparing fee proposals, training and mentoring junior members of the team and working on site from time-to-time. This position will require some site work including monitoring and sampling.

The Senior Geo-environmental Engineer selected will:

• Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
• Have a good level of gas and ground water monitoring experience and (ideally) have project and line management experience.
• Have a degree in geology, geoscience, earth science or a relevant subject.
• You must hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
• Be commutable to Edinburgh and surrounding area.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
