Job Title: Senior Interior Designer – Luxury Hospitality Projects
Location: North West London
Job Description:
As a Senior Interior Designer you will play a pivotal role in the luxury hospitality design team, responsible for crafting stunning and iconic interior spaces. Your creativity, design sensibility, and experience in luxury restaurant projects will contribute to the reputation for creating exceptional and unforgettable experiences for the clients and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptual Design: Develop and present innovative design concepts that align with the unique requirements and vision of each luxury hospitality project.
2. Project Leadership: Lead design teams, overseeing project development from initial concept to project completion, ensuring that designs are executed with precision and flair.
3. Client Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating design concepts to create tailored, elegant spaces.
4. Space Planning: Expertly plan interior spaces, maximizing functionality while creating visually stunning environments.
5. Material and Furniture Selection: Curate materials, finishes, and furnishings, reflecting a keen understanding of luxury aesthetics and the latest design trends.
6. Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, other designers, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of interior design with overall project goals.
7. Budget Management: Contribute to the development of project budgets and manage design processes within the established financial framework.
8. Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of design and craftsmanship, ensuring that the finished project meets or exceeds expectations.
Requirements:
1. A bachelor’s or master’s
degree in Interior Design or a related field.
2. A minimum of 7
years of professional experience in luxury interior design, with a
strong portfolio highlighting work on luxury restaurant
projects.
3. Proficiency in industry-standard design software,
including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
5. Strong
project management skills, with experience in leading teams and
managing multiple projects simultaneously.
6. A deep understanding
of materials, finishes, and furniture, as well as an ability to source
and specify accordingly.
7. A passion for staying up-to-date with
design trends, industry innovations, and luxury hospitality concepts.
Working Arrangement:
The design studio operates a hybrid working scheme, which includes the flexibility to work from home on Fridays. This approach offers a balanced work environment to enhance creativity and productivity.
