Senior Java Developer - Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservices, MSSQL, Vertica

I am seeking a Senior Java Developer to join my client who is a leading global investment management firm based in central London. You will be joining a high-performing team, that is working on building a new Trade Capture and PnL platform which is written in Java. The team works with all asset classes to understand the intricacies of different financial products. You must be highly skilled in Kafka this is a crucial skill for this role.

• FS experience (ideally cross-asset)

About you:

• You are a self-starter who finds the most pressing thing to do and confirms the direction with the team.
• You collaborate well with people of all experiences and abilities.
• You will participate in all design discussions
• You have high standards and help encourage others to follow them
• You want to engage directly with people across the organization, from Technology Infrastructure through to Front Office.

This is a 12-month FTC paying up to £130k on the base plus a 10k completion bonus. You will be required to work on-site in their office up to 4 days per week.
