Senior Legal Counsel - Asset Finance, Financial Services team within a global technology business

This is an exciting opportunity for a 8+ PQE lawyer with asset finance financial services experience to join a technology business within the financial services team on all legal requirements relating to the business. You will report into the General Counsel of Solutions and Services Group to support the creation of FS solutions across the business.

You must come with Asset Finance experience.

ROLE SUMMARY

• Advise on a wide range of regulatory and commercial legal issues
• Provide legal support for the financial services external programme business worldwide including Group Treasury and Credit Team
• Assist with the development of new financial solutions to facilitate global sales
• Collaborate with internal and external counsel, specific subject matter experts and stakeholders
• Advise on a range of commercial, regulatory, compliance legal issues
• draft and negotiate finance contracts with customers and third-party funders
• Seeking a high-energy, self-starter who is focused on delivering outcomes and solving problems.

You will assist with the development of new solutions and services to facilitate sales and oversea the business global roll out.

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Critical Experience:

• 8+ PQE years of experience in corporate/commercial work ideally from a bank or FS business
• Experience negotiating commercial lease finance transactions
• Experience in a national or global law firm or in-house commercial experience in a global technology company or bank.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, including transactional work and strategic projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global work environment.
• Confident team player with a proactive attitude and a focus on delivery and strong communication.
• Wanting to join a stimulating environment within one of the most forward thinking IT companies.
