Location : London
Salary or Rate : Competitive six-figure base salary

The Client – a global financial institution that is looking for a dynamic lawyer for their EMEA legal team within the lending practice. They cover a broad spectrum of work and have lawyers that come from fund finance, restructuring finance and leverage finance backgrounds.
The Role
- Assisting (in accordance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and based on internal guidance and standard operating procedures) in the documentation, negotiation, and execution of lending and loan trading transactions
- Working on group projects and initiatives
- Identifying and advising on related legal issues
You
- 4-8 PQE (E&W Qualified)
- Private Practice trained at an international law firm
- In-house experience within financial services is a bonus (not essential)
- Experience in the following from a lending perspective: leverage finance, fund finance, or restructuring finance.
- Strong technical knowledge of LMA loan documentation, including confidentiality agreements, term sheets, mandate letters, inter-creditor agreements, guarantees, and security documents, as well as LMA secondary loan documentation.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong working understanding of regulatory matters affecting lending, including Brexit and Libor cessation.
