We’re looking for a Senior Manager of HR Compliance and Employee Relations to join the People & Places Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide consultation, coaching and education on HR compliance and employee relations best practices to managers, team members and HR in our EMEA and APAC regions

  • Define, design and deliver global HR compliance solutions and advice on topics such as HR policies, disciplinary procedures, working time rules, pay rules, time off and leaves of absence to maintain compliance with country-specific statutes and regulations

  • Investigate and respond to complaints, and complex, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations cases. Proactively identify employee relations trends, and create and implement proposed solutions, in partnership with key partners

  • Participate in and lead responses to internal and external audits and enforcement actions relating to HR policies and practices

  • Provide subject matter expertise, conduct research and partner closely with Compliance and legal teams to proactively monitor relevant statutory and regulatory changes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with works councils, trade unions and disciplinary tribunals

  • Strong investigations and employee relations experience

  • Knowledgeable about global HR requirements and in-market regulations that impact the People team, including work time, overtime, time off policies and disciplinary requirements

  • Experience working in a multinational company

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to ensure compliance while also maintaining company culture

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional team skills, with demonstrated ability to partner, build strong relationships, and influence and communicate at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and training skills

  • Flexibility to travel

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Substantial professional experience in ER, HR, or employment law, with proven and demonstrable experience in the international space

  • Solid understanding of relevant global employment laws

Preferred qualifications:

  • Masters/PHR or a LLB/JD
