JOB – Senior Manufacturing Engineer

LOCATION - Dorset 

TERM - Permanent

SALARY- £47,000 annum (dependent on experience)   

My client is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Dorset on a permanent basis.

Ideally the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have the following attributes:

• Broad knowledge in any of the following: Sheet metal, Metallic assemblies, Fabrications, Heat treatment or surface treatment is beneficial but not essential.
• Great team player.
• Able to lead a team and has leadership experience.
• Be flexible, proactive, and adaptive.
• Good attention to detail
• Mechanical engineering degree, qualification, or experience

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer role will involve:

• Submitting times and values for estimate build up, on approved estimate sheets clearly showing all cost elements.
• Team leadership with responsibility for managing the workload of the team.
• Problem solving, and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaising with customers and subcontractors on technical queries
• Liaising with Shop Supervisors to resolve technical problems and ensure that new products are planned effectively.
• Performing other duties as may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company
