Senior Marine Claims Advocate
London / Hybrid
Up to £85,000 + Benefits
Our client is looking for a Marine Claims Specialist to join their already successful team based in London. The main purpose of the role is to support the Marine team by effectively processing and settling claims to deliver a quality advocacy claims service to clients both internal and external.
Role responsibilities;
- You will provide support to the team members as and when required.
- Managing own workload and ensuring that deadlines and targets are met.
- Reviewing details in conjunction with instructions and coverage/wording afforded, acknowledge to client/intermediary, prepare claims file accurately and promptly and maintain in-house and external computerised claims records.
- Producing claims information and presenting to insurers, either in written or networked format; and dealing with any resultant instructions, queries, and enquiries.
- Building meaningful relationships with Clients, experts and insurers by dealing with them in a prompt, friendly and professional manner always.
The successful candidate will have previous knowledge of handling claims in the London market for Hull & Machinery…. Also experience within Marine Reinsurance including P&I Clubs, Treaty, Facultative and Quota Share would be beneficial.
You will be internal and external client focused and keen to provide the highest quality of service delivery.
The salary on offer is up to £85,000 plus company benefits… a mix of both office and home working is on offer!
