Senior Motorsport Design Engineer

Full Job Description

Our client, a top motorsport team located in the north of England, requires a Senior Motorsport Design Engineer to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced environment of international motorsport.

Working from my client’s site, the senior motorsport design engineer will be involved with some of my client’s primary whole-car design projects.

Responsibilities:



* Delivering innovative engineering solutions from initial concepts through to production.

* Fault diagnosis and resolution.

* Verification of designs through own analysis and CAE.

* Mentoring junior design engineers.

Requirements:



* Be educated in an Engineering degree.

* Have at least 4 years’ experience as a design engineer in a motorsport environment.

* Have good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA.

* Knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential.

* Have meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.

* Have excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills
