About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role is for the Senior National Account Manager within our UK Retail Sales Team, managing a Top 4 grocery account.

In brief, you will be responsible for;

  • Full P&L ownership of one or several categories
  • Delivery of top-line sales and profit targets within your category/customer
  • Maintaining relationships and building long-term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implementation of Kraft Heinz innovation projects & execution of in-store activation

Key Components of the role

  • Ensure delivery of the Kraft Heinz financial KPIs of sales, profit, availability and forecasting through a joint business plan and collaborative forecasting
  • Management of the joint business plan or terms detailing specific objectives, strategies and tactics to deliver the defined business objectives
  • Management of the business interface between Kraft Heinz and our customers in all aspects of the customer
  • Devise and implement the customer promotional plan consistent with category guidelines including, the effective management of deals & allowances to maximize the return for Kraft Heinz and deliver the company targets
  • The selling, negotiation and execution of all new products, concepts and commercial propositions
  • Responsible for the forecasting of the accounts utilizing sales data and market intelligence, to provide the business with a timely and accurate financial forecast
  • Lead internal forums to gain engagement for you customer on longer term plans and innovation pipeline to win with the customer
  • Analysis of customer sales data to drive insight and recommendations to back the account plan
  • Identify new areas for growth within multi format customer, developing plans which create new selling space opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management skills are needed, and able to demonstrate the ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions, together with sound negotiation skills
  • Consistent track record of problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying the complex
  • Commercial and financial awareness are required along with the judgement, and skill to identify, negate and take commercial decisions, often under pressure
  • Interpersonal skills and high personal credibility is required to build relationships between external customers and internal functions to align both requirements and resolve issues (ability to communicate, present and influence)
  • Successful record of delivering results and continually demonstrating a sense of urgency
  • Strong customer centric focus to identify opportunities, build and translate activity into executable plans
  • Highly organised individual with good planning skills and the ability to lead projects across different categories both internal and external via different departmental functions.
  • Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite
