Your role:

Joining us as a Senior Network Engineer, you will form a pivotal role in the build, maintenance and operation for all aspects of our expanding, global corporate network infrastructure. As a cloud-first business, growing at scale, we are reliant upon our infrastructure to adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our staff, partners and customers.

Our Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and operating the Global Corporate Network including WLAN, LAN and security appliances.

You will be the primary point of contact for the wireless network estate, leading enhancements and refresh programs while providing assurance for network quality and stability. You will use your expertise to diagnose complex faults, implement solutions and document enhancements.

Having a growth mindset is central to the role, you will have the ability to use network observability & configuration toolsets to ensure the network stays available, secure and consistent while implementing deployments at scale.



Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • Demonstrable Experience of Supporting Enterprise Campus Network Technology 
  • In-depth knowledge of Wifi standards, protocols, authentication mechanisms and security features
  • Strong Understanding of TCP/IP and associated network protocols; dns, dhcp, ntp, snmp, radius, eap, ssh, tls
  • Deployment, Management and Troubleshooting experience of multi-vendor, multi-protocol, high-availability environments including Fortinet and Cisco
  • VPN and IPSec configuration and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Experience of working with Network Operation Tooling including SIEM systems, ticket management and change control systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Diagnostics Mindset - familiarity with network traffic analysis tools

Extra kudos if you have:

  • Practical experience with Netbox or other inventory management systems 
  • Practical experience with Golang
  • Google Cloud Platform experience 
  • ISO27001 or other compliance related experience
