Our client delivers responsive, professional, and dependable waste management and specialist industrial services across the UK. Their service encompasses hazardous and non-hazardous waste, recovery and recycling, and cleaning and decontamination of industrial plant. Clients that they serve cover a diverse range of industries which includes the specialty chemical sector, pharmaceuticals sector & manufacturing.

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Senior Operations Manager to join this business to take responsibility for operational control and overall management of the industrial services division, based in East Yorkshire. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide proactive development, performance and maintenance across all of the site’s business activities, within agreed P&L budget and financial targets. You will effectively manage five key areas: HSEQ Performance; People; Assets & Vehicles; Budget & Project Execution.

The pace is fast and reactive, and you will be tasked with ensuring on-site operations are run to maximum efficiency and that the business processes are optimised to deliver high levels of service and profitability. We are interested in talking to existing Operations and Senior Operations individuals with current or previous experience within an industrial services business or another highly process driven sector, ideally with transport and fleet management operational expertise.
