Position Overview:


As a Senior Producer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing large, complex projects from inception to successful delivery. You'll be at the helm of project planning and execution, ensuring that milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and teams are optimized for efficiency. Your responsibilities encompass project success, stakeholder relationships, team member growth, and effective communication of project status.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


  • Scope large, complex projects and identify risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Staffing for projects - ensuring you have the right people at the right time to limit inefficiencies and ensure smooth handoffs between team members
  • Analyzing sprint data and forecasting the impact it has on the broader roadmap and milestones.
  • Actively drive the milestone planning activities at the right time with the right people.
  • Overall project success from delivering on time and sustaining success once live
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of the project on time, in budget and to the agreed quality standards with minimal oversight.
  • You are responsible for establishing healthy trusting relationships amongst all stakeholders and the development team.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for team member growth and development - working with their discipline leads on how you can help them grow and learn!
  • Accountable for delivering reports that capture the status and overall health of the project to key project stakeholders.
  • Regular reporting of results back to production and leadership to ensure organization-wide continued learning.
  • Are able to directly manage Assistant, Associate & Mid-level producers and are responsible for ensuring team feedback is a priority and a core component of the development process (eg. retrospectives. 1:1’s, surveys)
  • Proactively identify opportunities for team member growth and development.
  • Risk Management - you should see risks coming before the team, and you should proactively identify ways to mitigate them and maintain a risk register


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, demonstrating a track record of successful deliveries.
  • Exceptional project scope management skills, with the ability to identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Proficiency in staffing for projects, ensuring the right team members are allocated at the appropriate times to maximize efficiency and ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting sprint data and forecasting its impact on project roadmaps and milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive milestone planning activities, coordinating with relevant team members.
  • Accountability for overall project success, including on-time delivery, budget adherence, and meeting quality standards, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to foster trust among stakeholders and the development team.
  • Proactive identification of opportunities for team member growth and development, collaborating with discipline leads to facilitate learning.
  • Proficiency in delivering comprehensive reports that capture project status and health for key stakeholders.
  • Regular reporting of project results to production and leadership to support continuous organizational learning.
  • Direct management experience with Assistant, Associate, and Mid-level producers, prioritizing team feedback as a core component of the development process (e.g., retrospectives, 1:1 meetings, surveys).
  • Strong risk management skills, with the ability to anticipate and proactively mitigate risks, maintaining a risk register.
