Full Job Description

Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker 
Provision: Children's Home, 7 to 17, EBD  2 Bed
Salary: Up to £34,000 with Enhancements 
Location: Swinton, Manchester 
Reporting to: Deputy / Registered Manager
Desired Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR equivalent Or Enrolled on
Experience: 1 years' in a Ofsted Children's Home
 
The role of Senior is ideally suited to an:
Someone who is currently a Senior or Team Lead, looking for a new challenge with a company they can progress with. It is noted that the Registered Manager will be moving into an Area/Service Manager role in 18 to 24 months, in line with the company's growth plans in the North West. The company would like to promote internally to fill the positions

Job Overview:
Senior Residential Support Workers (Also known as Team Leaders) go above and beyond to help children who have experienced a difficult past to forge positive pathways towards a brighter future. 
Shift Pattern: You will work condensed shifts of two days on, and 4 days off with one additional day per month, on average.
Holiday: 210hours
Additional leave: at 2 years and 5 years’ service

Main Responsibilities:

You will work collaboratively with the education and therapy consultants,  as well as colleagues from the wider sector, keeping the children at the heart of all you do. What we are looking for:
You have achieved Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People’s Workforce. Ideally, you will have experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
This role offers a great work- life balance with the condensed working rota and sleep-ins, and shifts start.
