Senior Site Manager No.1 - Heritage Project

Full Job Description

Our client is a traditional medium sized main contractor that specialise in the heritage sector. They undertake specialist works on listed buildings across London as well as operating in additional sectors such as health care and education.

We are currently recruiting on our clients behalf for a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to run a project in Woolwich. The project is an external refurbishment of a listed building with a programme of 70 weeks and a construction value of £6m.

Scope of works are refurbishment of external roofing (including copper domes and façade cleaning / repairs), additional packages included also.

As the number 1 onsite, you’ll be responsible for managing all sub contractors as well as suppliers and the client. Progress reporting directly to the senior management team, managing all aspects of health and safety and QA.

The right candidate will have extensive experience of managing external works as a number 1 on listed buildings/heritage works in general.
