Senior Software Engineer/Senior Software Developer/Senior Software Programmer – Vastly growing Media Broadcasting company - Python, Java (will consider all back-end technologies), Agile, AWS or Google Cloud, Git, Continuous Integration, MicroServices architecture, server development, - London – BETWEEN £45K-£75K DOE + Bonus & BENS (Including Flexible working, WFH or remote working, BUPA Healthcare & Dental, Pension contribution, opportunity to go to company event in Las Vegas, free food and drinks)

My client are a vastly growing Media Broadcasting business who are looking to grow their tech team currently with some development and project resource due to them lading new signed off projects with some well-known customers. They are looking to get on board a Senior Software Engineer/Senior Software Developer/Senior Software Programmer initially to help lead the team reporting into the Engineering Manager.

The Senior Software Engineer/Senior Software Developer/Senior Software Programmer will be responsible for:

· Work collaboratively within a team to design, write and maintain high quality code in a

timely manner

· Backend development server-side working with Python and Java

· Working on AWS cloud architecture

· Participating in code reviews and pair programming

· Participating and contributing in the design of solutions to complex problems

· Working within a Continuous Integration build environment

· Work in an Agile environment using Scrum or other methodologies

The Senior Software Engineer/Senior Software Developer/Senior Software Programmer will ideally have the following experience :

· Backend/serverside development experience using Python, Java or any other backend technologies (company are willing to train people on the technologies) Experience writing quality code in their chosen languages

· Detailed knowledge of AWS services

· Competency writing unit tests

· Experience and knowledge of video standards and streaming media protocols would be beneficial but not essential

· Experience of version control systems such as Git

· Experience working within an Agile methodology following Scrum
