Full Job Description

Salter Grange is working with of one of London's renowned residential developers currently seeking an Senior Technical Co-ordinator to join theirteam. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with their Design and Technical teams, contributing to every aspect of housing design and development. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating all technical information throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee external consultants in the preparation and timely issuance of production information, adhering to agreed schedules and scope.
  • Develop technical specifications aligned with Land Acquisition budget parameters and outcomes from Technical/Sales Meetings.
  • Craft and present Design Programs at Progression Meetings, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate the submission and pursuit of statutory enquiries, sewer connections, and other necessary agreements within specified time lines.
  • Manage NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure working drawings adhere to approved Planning Schemes and facilitate the discharge of planning conditions.
  • Monitor and control production information in collaboration with the Development Estimator to maintain cost controls and budget alignment.
  • Oversee the preparation of Brochure Plans, Conveyance Plans, and Sales Area drawings.
  • Attend and actively participate in various project meetings and site progress reviews.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical and construction-related issues promptly.
  • Conduct site inspections and respond to queries, resolving technical and construction challenges as they arise.
  • Facilitate subcontractor interviews and coordinate the issuance of drawings and information for construction purposes.


To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • Qualification as a Civil/Building Engineer or equivalent in a built environment subject, with relevant experience.
  • A solid understanding of house and flat construction, Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and associated legislation.
