Senior Town Planner
London (Hybrid Working)
£55,000 -
£65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
An exciting
opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Senior Town
Planner to join a reputable planning team in the vibrant city of
London. This is a fantastic chance for an individual with a strong
background in town planning to take on a pivotal role, contributing to
the success of our projects and shaping the urban landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and
implement comprehensive planning strategies to support the growth and
development of urban areas.
Project Management: Lead and manage
planning projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within
budget, while maintaining a high level of quality.
Stakeholder
Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders,
including local authorities, developers, and community groups, to
facilitate effective communication and consensus building.
Policy
Development: Stay abreast of relevant planning policies and
legislation, providing expertise and guidance to ensure compliance and
alignment with best practices.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support
junior members of the planning team, fostering a collaborative and
high-performance work environment.
Site Appraisals: Conduct site
appraisals, assessments, and evaluations to inform planning
recommendations and decisions.
Hybrid Working Model: Embrace and
adapt to a hybrid working model, balancing remote work and
office-based collaboration as required.
Qualifications and
Experience:
·Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
·Full
membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
·Proven
experience as a Senior Town Planner, with a track record of successful
project delivery.
·In-depth knowledge of UK planning policies,
regulations, and procedures.
·Strong communication and negotiation
skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse
stakeholders.
·Excellent project management abilities.
