Full Job Description

I am collaborating with a top professional events partner in the UK. We are seeking a WordPress Web Developer to join their design project team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with extensive knowledge of WordPress, Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields, and WooCommerce.
  • Experience in database optimization for WordPress environments and familiarity with WordPress hosting on AWS.
  • Outstanding design skills, capable of creating visually appealing and functional web experiences.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated work ethic, capable of managing design tasks from concept to completion while actively participating in team discussions.
  • Adaptability to adjust designs based on analytical data and team feedback, with a continuous focus on enhancing the user experience.
  • Ability to incorporate SEO best practices to improve the website's search engine ranking and visibility.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms or plugins to understand user journey and wishlist functionalities. Familiarity with WooCommerce or similar plugins adapted for inquiry-based systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in working with WordPress CMS builds that include WooCommerce.
  • Proficiency with web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
  • Experience with project management tools like YouTrack or Basecamp.
  • Experience with CRO tools such as Hotjar and Marker.io for integrating user feedback into design decisions.
  • Must be able to drive to the on-site location (hybrid) 2 to 3 days a week.

Fixed-term contract for 6 months
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pro rata
