As a Designer, you want be able to express your creativity freely and guide clients with your expertise in your own way. This team not only encourages but applauds creative flexibility. In this Design & Build business you will be working as part of the design team to meet the requirements of the clients whilst supporting the design vision to be a recognised leader in design.
  
Key Responsibilities

• To provide a winning design - creative, concept, and technical design services.
• Ensure the company's project process is maintained.
• Attend all necessary meetings to obtain the design brief.
• Work in a timely manner in accordance with the agreed timescales.
• Provide design innovation to the project.
• Provide concept and detailed design services required for a design and build proposal.
• Provide and coordinate the technical design as required.
• Liaise with the other team functions to ensure that the design is coordinated.
• Attend and chair client design presentations and project (internal and external) meetings.
• To be aware of emerging design, and statutory regulations.
• Provide designs that comply in full with legislation- Building control and Town planning.
• Provide support to the Lead Creative & pre-contract and delivery teams where required.

 
 Key Skills and Capabilities Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design 5+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator
• Experience of working at a Senior Level within the Build and fit out sector
• Excellent time and task management
• Excellent Design scheme & concept development
• Exceed expectations and push the boundaries of design
• Challenge the brief with disruptive thinking and creative ideas/solutions
• Excellent Design presentation and graphic presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• To flag and pinch points early to avoid negative impact on project agreed deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team to get the job done
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Flexibility to get the job done
