Do you enjoy delivering groups and ready to make a significant difference in substance misuse recovery? In this role, you'll utilise your expertise to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised sessions that address the group's needs.

Location: Croydon

Salary: £18.95 per hour (inclusive)

 

Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on delivering SMART groups, you will collaborate with other program facilitators and professionals within the project to deliver groups, utilising evidence-based practices to address the specific needs of our service users.

 

Role-specific responsibilities include:

  • Preparing subject matter and materials for groups.
  • Engaging in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods.
  • Leading graduation events for service users who have completed the program.
  • Reviewing service user feedback and making necessary adjustments.

About you:

  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by proficient IT abilities.
  • Proactive and Organised: Being proactive, capable of working independently, and possessing strong time management skills.
  • Experience with Groups: Have worked with groups before and know how to manage group dynamics, including conflict or challenging behaviour.

 

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in substance misuse or a related area.
  • Experience leading SMART groups.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based methods for group work.
  • While having a qualification in group work would be helpful, it's not necessary. We value your experiences and dedication above all else.
