Sewing Machinist

Lodge Farm, Northampton

20 hours per week, with the opportunity to go full time.

Temporary to Permanent (after 12 successful weeks)

12.00 per hour



ACS Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client in the Lodge Farm, Northampton area. This is very exciting opportunity for someone looking for regular part-time work, with the opportunity to go full time.

Previous sewing experience is essential.

Your Responsibilities as a Sewing Machinist:

• Sewing using sewing machines.
• Stitch pieces of material together to make various components of furniture.
• Cut fabric and other materials according to specified dimensions and patterns.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Create a high-quality product that meets customer satisfaction.

Sewing Machinist Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sewing machinist in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant tools and equipment
• Good attention to details
• Good organisation skills
• Good level of written and verbal English
