CareerLink have a very exciting new opportunity which has become available in the B5 5QB radius. We are recruiting for one of our well-established manufacturing clients based in Digbeth.

We are recruiting for some highly reliable and experienced Sewing Machinist to undertake the role of operating and maintaining press stitch machine to assemble and manfacture fabric products for a range of Garden furniture and dog beds.

The role would require you to work on a Monday - Friday basis.

The hours of work required would be 7am - 16:30pm this would include X2 15 minute breaks and X1 30 minute break (unpaid)

The pay rate would be 11.44 per hour

Roles and Responsibilites;

• Operate a pedal press sewing machine to stitch fabric components according to specified patterns and dimensions
• Ensure the finshed products meet quality standards for strength , durability and aesthetics
• Perform regular maintenance on sewing machines to keep them in optimal working conditions
• Monitor machine operation to identifiy and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
• Collborate with team members and prioritize work orders and meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures and prevent accidents and injuries
