Role Overview:

Location: Newport, Shropshire
Position: Shift Engineer
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule of 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts
Salary: 42,000 - 46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks for various equipment and machinery.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
Support and cover for colleagues during absences, which may include additional hours, weekends, and bank holidays.
Maintain clear records of work and keep maintenance files up to date.
Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Shift Engineer in a similar role.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, both day and night, on a rotating schedule.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
