The Role:  Night Shift Supervisor - Environmental Services
Location : London, Staines
Salary:  £40k - £45k + benefits

The Company
Our client, in the environmental sector, has an opportunity to join them at their recycling production facility  as their Night Shift Supervisor .

The Role
*  As Night Shift Supervisor you will supervise, motivate and manage the shift production at our waste processing plant .
*Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible day to day operational activities at our site, ensuring the shift is efficient, safe and a secure operation
* You will work with our Production Manager to ensure the shift produces the quality of material required.
*You will work with our maintenance team who will support the shift in delivering the day time production.
*You will be responsible for dealing with any problems or incidents in a timely manner and within the required procedure guidelines, escalating issues to the appropriate manager.
*You will co-ordinate with traffic and product coming onto site to ensure production constant and efficient.
• You will ensure that there is a positive Health & Safety culture.

The Successful Shift Supervisor
•  The ideal Shift Supervisor will have experience working in the waste or recycling  sector but experience in prodcution or manufacturing will also be considered.
• The ideal candidate will have experience of managing or supervising small to medium teams.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop a positive team working environment..
• Previous experience of working within Health & Safety legislation is required and a positive approach to all health and safety matters is a necessity.
• Experience of working within and meeting SLA and KPI requirements
• The ideal candidate will have a positive, can do personality and attitude.
• This role would suit an individual who is keen to develop themselves as our business also grows.
