Shipper, Warehouse

Westcoast Floral is looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipper.   WestCoast Floral is known for their family values, innovative thinking, andexceptional industry standards. Situated on 24 acres with over 3 million plantsgrown with a gorgeous destination garden centre, specializing in ethicallyhomegrown plants for your home and garden.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate with the Operations Manager on allshipping and receiving.

·         Ensure KPI’s are achieved, fast and accurate orderfulfillment with warehouse employees.

·         Sorting of boxes based on region.

·         Palletizing of boxes.

·         Unloading of trucks with forklift.

· Ensure staff abide by Occupational Health andSafety Regulations

·         General housekeeping duties, ensure a clean andsafe working environment.

Qualifications/Experience

·         Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouseenvironment.

·         Forklift experience an asset. – in house trainingprovided.

·         Excellent team player and the ability to motivatestaff, ensure KPI’s are achieved.

·         Legally permitted to work in Canada.

·      Willingness to work some evenings.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Ability to lift, up to 30 lbs.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Must have own transportation (location is nottransit accessible)

·         Benefits available after 1 year of employment.

·         $ 20.00 to $ 25.00 per hour depending onexperience.
