Overview:
First Military
Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic
International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Signalling
Construction Site Supervisor on a permanent basis due to growth based
at their Hamilton (Scotland) depot.
As a Signalling Site
Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Responsible
for checking monitoring and reporting on the quality and quantities of
installation works and ensuring that staff work safely and
efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Construction Manager and Works Supervisor, allocate and direct the workforce to ensure the most efficient use of resource, which may include Agency / Sub-Contractors on site.
- Ensuring that all work complies with current quality and group / line standards.
- Ensure productivity and workmanship of staff is of an acceptable standard.
- Assist in the planning of onsite operations, and future projects, including resource planning and inputting into rosters
- Ensure all relevant site records and paperwork are maintained as requested by the Construction Manager / Project Manager / Project Engineer and have an input into preparation of Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheet, and RIMINI Sheet.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive S&T work experience.
- Ability to lead staff.
- Able to drive or willing to learn.
- Good organisational skills
