Full Job Description

Our client a well-known civil engineering contractor is seeking a permanent Site Agent Manager to join the team due to further expansion and a significant secured work for this year.

The company has been established for over 30 years, employs over 200 staff and their civils division has a turnover of £30 Million per annum with plans to increase this to £50 Million by 2025. All of their work is in the NE region and includes but is not limited to large drainage projects, foundations, piling, Main Drainage, Clean Water Rehabilitation, Wastewater Rehabilitation, Urban Renewal Projects, Environmental Improvement and Historic Restoration Services Development and Infrastructure, Ports, Harbour and Sea Defence Works and Minor Works. They project they undertake range from £100 to £8Million in value and purely here in the North East.

We are seeking a Site Agent Manager that has experience of managing projects as outlined above having worked for an established sub-contractor or principal contractor and used to managing direct and sub contract staff within civil engineering projects specifically. The ideal candidate will hold CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Certification and come from a site profession i.e., site engineer or trade background. General responsibilities of an Agent Manager from site inductions, general H&S looks ahead plans, client facing role, progress meetings, commercial monitoring alongside a Qs, liaising with the procurement team in terms of plant on and off hire and materials and keeping a site diary.
