Full Job Description
Due to the expansion of the planned programme of Kitchen refurbishments at Paradigm, this new role has been created to assist in the supervision of the Technicians carrying out the installations. The role will be predominantly site-based with occasional attendance to the Head office in High Wycombe for meetings with the planned works manager. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 8 -10 Direct labour kitchen fitters and Subcontractors to ensure safe working, high-quality installs and customer satisfaction are delivered in line with SLAs and budget. There will be a requirement to use various Microsoft packages from time to time.
About you
We are
looking for someone with a passion for excellent service with
significant experience in maintenance and construction to join the
team. With this in mind, a relevant City & Guilds or NVQ and a sound
knowledge of relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, building
regulations and health and safety is required.
A full, valid
manual driving licence and computer literacy are also essential.
Our ideal candidate has some prior experience in social housing and has a demonstrable history of working in operational customer-facing roles.
What you'll do day-day
Assist with and help oversee the Planned Works
Kitchen team works streams, ensuring works are carried out efficiently
and in line with Paradigm’s standards. Monitor technician’s
productivity and job completion rates and work alongside the
Investment Admin team to make changes where necessary to the
allocation of work. Keep the workstack to a minimum and escalate any
issues to the Planned Works Manager of Kitchen & Bathroom. Carry out
regular site inspections to maintain high profile quality work at
speed.
