Job Title: Site Manager - Diamond Drilling, Cutting, and Sawing Specialist

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented Site Manager to oversee their operations and ensure the successful completion of projects.

Location:
Stockport, UK

Salary:
45,000 - 50,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of site operations for diamond drilling, cutting, and sawing projects.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project delivery according to specifications, budget, and schedule.
  • Supervise on-site personnel, including drilling and cutting teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Implement and enforce site-specific safety procedures and protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to ensure project success.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, milestones, and any issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, preferably with expertise in diamond drilling, cutting, or sawing.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with a focus on commercial and retail fit-out projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams effectively.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification preferred but not essential.
