Residential Site Manager

Salary: £60k + Car Allowance

Job Description:

As a Residential Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the successful completion of residential projects within specified timelines and budget constraints. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
  2. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  3. Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures on-site.
  4. Manage and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  5. Regularly inspect and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
  6. Communicate progress updates to project management and stakeholders.
  7. Address and resolve on-site issues promptly to keep the project on track.
  8. Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.
  9. Manage project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and contracts.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment on-site.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction projects.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
  4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
  7. Proficient in project management software.
  8. OSHA certification (preferred).
