• £46,464 - £50,512 per annum (subject to job evaluation moderation)
• 37 hours per week 
• Permanent

This advert is open to current East Suffolk Council staff only .  

We currently have an exciting internal opportunity to join the East Suffolk Council's Economic Development and Regeneration Team as the Sizewell C Economic Programme Manager .

Your role

Your role will be pivotal in developing, managing, and delivering a comprehensive multi-year, multi-million-pound programme to both maximise opportunities, and minimise/mitigate any potential negative impacts during the construction phase of the Sizewell C development on the local economy. This will involve developing a programme of support to enable local businesses and residents to both benefit from the SZC development and for any adverse business impacts to be addressed. 

You will build strong, collaborative relationships with a range of internal teams and external partners/stakeholders to develop an impactful programme. This will include a developing close working relationship  with the Sizewell C Skills & Education and Supply Chain Working Groups. 

What you will need

You will need significant experience within economic development and a strong track record of developing, managing and delivering impactful economic development delivery plans. You will also have experience managing significant multi-year budgets, strong leadership and management skills and excellent relationship management skills.
