We match our Care Professionals  to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable us to provide personalised support.

Job Description

You do not need any care qualifications or formal experience to become a Care Professional  as we will provide you with our award-winning training.  We have Care Professionals  working for us who have been stay at home mums, semi-retired school teachers and or retired but would like part time work. 

As well as gaining fulfilment for yourself, you will be really helping to reduce periods of loneliness and making a huge difference, your visits are so important to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reflect the core values of Home Instead 
  • Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions
  • Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff

Essential Criteria

  • A passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service
  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build professional relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner
  • Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
  • Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions
  • You must be reliable, trustworthy and an excellent time keeper 

Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel to clients homes
  • You will be required to undergo a full DBS check
