Regional Care Trainer

Part-time 30hrs per week, with flexible hours to suit you!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced dynamic Care Trainer to co-ordinate and deliver staff training across care homes. Naturally, the Care Trainer will have a proactive approach to work, will be able to motivate and inspire others and support their professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of face to face training and induction programme to employees.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning culture.
  • Recognise and assist individuals with specific training needs and provide ongoing support to staff through coaching, mentoring, and refresher training sessions.
  • Providing additional support with mandatory eLearning.
  • Stay updated with the latest social care practices, legislation, and regulatory requirements and integrating these into training materials.
  • Contribute to the review and preparation of course materials and presentations.
  • Ensure that staff qualifications are maintained and up to date, in line with the regulatory bodies.
  • Play an active role in the designing and development of current and future training programmes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent.
  • Relevant Train the Trainer qualifications, such as Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and Safeguarding.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work on their own initiative and within a team.

A full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential as up to 50% of your time is spent commuting to our various sites in Norfolk and Suffolk.
