Up to £130,000 basic plus up to 40% Bonus & Benefits

A highly reputable retail organisation are looking to recruit a Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams across their world-class Engineering department.

The role provides the perfect blend of technical leadership, talent development and software delivery, so your ability to work closely with experienced Engineering Teams is a key component. This is a critical role in the company's mission to rapidly launch new customer-centric digital products across their web and app-based platforms.

The company is at an exciting period of change with a focus on becoming more product-led in their approach so it is important as the Engineering Manager, you are able to utilise your experience to foster a positive relationship between Product & Engineering.

In collaboration with the other Leaders within the Engineering function, you will be a key decision-maker in streamlining and defining the future strategy across web and app platforms, focusing on people, product evolution and technology. As the Software Engineering Manager, you should drive your teams to deliver at pace while ensuring they remain inspired and connected to the business's vision.

As Engineering Manager you should have:

• Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams.

• The ability to articulate technical requirements to the wider business stakeholders.

• In-depth Knowledge across a range of web and app technologies. Including Java / Kotlin / Swift / GitHub

• Experience Defining and continually evolving technology and architectural strategy

• Advocate agile development best practice

• Foster collaboration between engineering and product

• Previous hands-on or architecture experience

• New product/proposition development
