Software Engineering Team Lead / Hands on Dev Manager

We are looking for an experienced hands on Dev Manager or team leader, with a strong background as a .net Developer.

This is a permanent position, on a predominantly remote basis (ad hoc office visits, 4-6 per year) and paying £75-78k + bens.

The role is working for a large facilities business spanning the UK, as a key part of their IT software function, helping to transform their integration platform, discontinuing the original platform and rebuilding in microservices.

As part of a small Development team, who will wear multiple hats – responsible for the day to day management of the team (5 Software Engineers), involvement with technical and solutions architecture and also taking a lead position on software engineering – managing and mentoring, with the support of a dedicated lead Developer.

You will have experience in both asp.net and .net Core and have worked within environments transitioning to a micro services architecture as well as a good understanding of Azure cloud provisioning (knowledge of Azure functions, Azure devops etc).
