What hours will you be working?
48 hours a week with two days off together.

What you’ll be doing as Sous Chef?
Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our
people is key. As our Sous Chef, you will be the second in command
and enjoy delivering excellent food standards, working with quality
fresh ingredients to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in
a friendly and supportive environment. Supporting your head chef to
lead and mentor your brigade, you will also be passionate about their
training and continued development. You will have previous
experience, preferably in a fresh food environment. You may also be a
chef de partie or junior sous who is looking to progress.
You will also;
- maintain health and safety processes and a 5-star rating
- achieve GP targets for the site, as well as helping to manage stock and labour costs
With recent senior kitchen experience, in a fresh food environment, you will relish the chance to develop your career at Hydes.

The Stamford Bridge is a mere two miles from the
Roman city of Chester, with its numerous tourist attractions and only
ten minutes from the famous Chester Zoo. With its wonderful views over
the Cheshire Plains, Stamford Bridge is the perfect place to enjoy the
lighter evenings in its warm & welcoming atmosphere or while away the
wintery nights by the log fires. The extensive food menu features an
array of dishes to suit all tastes including delicious burgers,
classic mains and succulent grills. We are proud to serve a great
selection of high quality cask beers offering a wide range of styles
and flavours.
