Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Quality Specialist located in Durham (NC), Alpharetta(GA)or either Sunrise (FL), will be responsible for supporting our operations in the area of Quality Assurance (QA). This role is focused on supporting small- and medium-sized projects as the Quality functional expert and project team leader. The Quality Specialist ensures quality is built into the products and processes by developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving quality systems and processes as well as leading project teams in developing, designing, installing and starting-up new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades.

In this role, you will:

  • Participates on project teams as the QA SME to ensure Quality is consistently delivered by Clorox BHVMS plants, external manufacturers and suppliers.

  • Provides leadership and technical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem resolution at our plants, external manufacturers and suppliers. 

  • Ensures the effective management and communication of improvement plans and draws on internal and external experts as appropriate to meet project objectives and timelines.

  • Providing Quality oversight of CTQ capability within Clorox BHVMS manufacturing sites, suppliers and external manufacturers until completion of tech transfer.

  • Engage other QA resources as needed to address specific technical quality issues.

  • Supports the continuous improvement of the quality function by identifying and resolving gaps in quality systems, tools, and processes. 

  • Develops implements, maintains, and improves quality systems and processes.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in quality operations.

  • Experience with FDA, GMP and Prop 65 rules, regulations and guidelines related to dietary supplements.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the function on project teams.

  • Proficient in problem-solving, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, superior organizational abilities.

  • Strong leadership & Influence skills, ability to set direction and drive results.

  • Willingness and ability to travel, with a commitment up to 20% of the time or more.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

– Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
– Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
– Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
