Full Job Description
Company: You'll be joining a small independent consultancy, specialising in synthesising and presenting evidence to support market access for new healthcare interventions.
The Role: Statistician
You'll develop and critique statistical analyses for economic evaluations of healthcare interventions and undertake several different types of statistical analyses for clients within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of study protocols, including statistical analysis plans, specifying table shells and figures
- Preparation of datasets for analysis and undertaking analyses as detailed in the analysis plan
- Quality assurance review of statistical models developed both within the company and for clients
- Involvement in client meetings to provide updates on methods, progress, and results of data analysis
- Report preparation and presentation to clients
Requirements:
- BSc, MSc, PhD in medical statistics, statistics, or similar
- Experienced in R, STATA, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with patient-level data or large individual-level data sets
- Ability to implement survival analysis, generalised linear models, and multilevel models and to draw inferences between parameters and clinical endpoints
- Familiarity with analysing HES, CPRD
