Steel Erector Role:

As a pivotal member of our construction projects, you'll serve as a Steel Erector, collaborating with a proficient team to erect steel structures of varying sizes and complexities.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold strict adherence to company health, safety, and environmental protocols, ensuring the safe execution of tasks in accordance with established guidelines and risk assessments.
• Precisely interpret and implement technical drawings, employing safe preassembly and erection techniques for structural steelwork at both low and high elevations.
• Proficiently sling loads and proficiently manage signalling, working seamlessly with cranes to facilitate efficient and safe material handling.
• Demonstrate competence in working at heights and operating high-level access equipment, such as Mobile Operating Platforms (MEWPs), with meticulous attention to safety protocols.
• Erect steelwork with meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing structural integrity and alignment with project specifications.
• Expertly install prefabricated sheet metal components, including flashings, trims, and structural decking, ensuring proper installation and compliance with project specifications.
• Skillfully install roof, vertical, and horizontal cladding systems, ensuring weatherproofing and maintaining aesthetic integrity.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid UK driving license is essential due to travel requirements.
• An up-to-date and relevant CSCS certification.
• A CPCS Slinger/Signaller card, whether live or expired.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home within the UK.
