Steelwork Structural Engineer - WFH/Hybrid

Full Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with experience in Structural Steelwork/Steel Frame Buildings to join our highly successful client near Derby.

You will join an existing Engineering Team and work on a variety of projects both individually and as part of a team.

You will receive a good starting salary (negotiable DOE), excellent career potential along with a large part of the role spent working from home – with one/two office visits every couple of weeks.

Structural Engineer duties include:

* Design of structural sections/frames and associated connections where required.

* Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required.

* Raising RFI/TQs as required.

Structural Engineer requirements:

* Hold a professional Engineering qualification.

* Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects.

* Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Experience working with design software such as masterseries, CSC/Trimble Building Designer or similar is advantageous.

* Good communication skills
